I hope you haven't taken a bite out of it JJ

fine work to capture the bands of colour around the edge..the low angle accentuates it's presence here in the woods..V

a beauty, looks huge! Coming up to my fave time of year :)

Sure is an interesting shroom! Almost reminds me of an upside down toilet plunger!

Great PoV and angle view.

A few brown leaves on the ground, fungi, and the leaves turning in the background...an image I would have loved to have taken myself.
When I was in the wood yesterday, there was a 'nip' to the air, leaves were falling, fungi were sprouting...and there was a definite feel of change.
Exceptional shot, Johnny.
:-)

Nice angle. Well done.

As much as I like this, I am a bit sad because it means autumn is not so far away, again!
Martin Lamoon09-Aug-2011 05:27
Brilliant capture, you are finding some amazing fungi.
Cindi Smith09-Aug-2011 02:51
Looks like the fairies got hungry....kinda like an upside down sesame seed bun. Very cool!
Faye White08-Aug-2011 22:00
Great pov, love the woodsy scenery
Mairéad08-Aug-2011 21:42
Looks like a picnic table for fairies.
J. Scott Coile08-Aug-2011 21:23
Outstanding perspective.

It looks treelike against the background

Like this one too, and another great setting as a backdrop. The woods round you must be heaving with mushrooms and toadstools.
Colin Storey08-Aug-2011 19:37
Very nice low down mushroom image.
