The U15 national team had a test match in Heidenheim vs. a regional selection. After checking the weather report I took of, assured it would be a good day for baseball, and worth the three hour drive. After several rainy spells on the way up, I was becoming more and more uncertain. Just as I got there, it started to downpour in biblical proportions. You actually could see animals in pair of two walking to higher ground. After it finally stopped, everybody had to pitch in to get the field in shape. Gabriel Staub helped me with some of the pictures. The game started with some delay. The team we played was quite strong, also the coaches wanted to get everybody into the game. The final score of very much to little in favor of our opponent, does not quit reflect the ability of our national team. Until start of the European championship in Italy, there is still time to ad some more practice.
