It was the 14th annual street parade today. Officially once labeled a peace demonstration, it’s really a big techno music happening. Over 30 “Love mobiles,” flatbed trucks, packed with ravers and Sound equipment, move slowly to hammering base beats, only inches at the time. Approximately one million people, young and old danced around the lake today, witch is about three times the Zurich population. To some people, no outfit is embarrassing enough. It’s like Mardy Gras, Gay Pride parade and Woodstock, all rolled into one, Carnival for people who don’t like freezing their buts of in February. Imagine hundreds of loosely dressed people who WANT YOU TO TAKE THEIR PICTURE.
