Opening day today on the new Heerenschüri Baseball field. The first real baseball only field in the country. Some guys waited 30 years for this to happen, me personally only 24. We had a worthy christening of the field with two wins, over our cross town rivals (even I’m not really sure you can call them that) Barracudas. Also our cadets opened the season today in Embrach, they had to settle for a split. For the fact that the team consists of about 12 new kids, who actually would qualify for a juveniles team, this went very well.
