In 1997 we became Cadets Swiss champions again. It was a 1 to 0 victory over the Hüneberg Unicorns. Our only run scored on a error on third base. Actually, the opposing pitcher lost a no hitter. The last out was somewhat special. With two out in the last inning and a runner on second base, the next batter bunted. Pitcher Oliver Labhart fielded the ball, but his throw forced 1B Thomas Hüppi of the bag. The runner from second base never stopped after rounding third base. Hüppi, realizing the runner going for home, threw to catcher Tobias Siegrist who tagged the runner for the final out and the championship title.
P.S It was Tobias Siegrist who lost the ball on a play at the platte, when we lost the 1994 championship to the Therwil Flyers.
