Quebradas Back Country Byway, New Mexico, USA

This 25 mile rocky road crosses a wondrous variety of Chihuahuan desert terrain. Going from nowhere to the middle of nowhere, the road is on BLM property east of Socorro and north of the White Sands Missile Range. Much of the area is under study for possible wilderness designation. (Sounds like a plan.)
