New Mexico - Jordan Canyon Episode

Second set of images from my recent New Mexico photography expedition - this set centering on an area at the eastern base of the Magdalena Mountains just west of Socorro, and over the ridge from Magdalena. This segment documents my hike up Jordan Canyon to the ridge above the Tip Top Mine, which cut through the mountain range from west to east in search of paying ore.

I periodically search PBase for photographs of New Mexico. Yours is the first gallery I've encountered that describes the overall location, and provides helpful captions for each picture. Thanks for sharing a part of New Mexico that I haven't seen before via some carefully composed photographs.
