After one of the wettest spring seasons in several years, the SW New Mexico plains and mountainsides are full of life. While a bit too early in the season for most wildflowers, we did see some varieties blooming. Our brief stay at the Bear Mountain Lodge, run by the Nature Conservancy, was delightful.
