On the way into Half Moon Bay it didn't look like we were going to make it. Half Moon Bay airport is 17 miles south of the Golden Gate Bridge and under the Class B airspace for SFO. So, getting altitude to check things out is rather difficult unless you want to fly way out over the Pacific ocean. Not my first choice in a single engine aircraft over fog.
