Very interested to see this particular engine as I bought number 002 at a Gildings auction about 2009, when all the Peter Chinn engines were disposed of. This is the very engine that was tested for Aeromodeller Mag. I used the engine to set a new (still current) Weatherman Class 6 record but was stupid enough to not check the engine thoroughly because the gudgeon pin circlip was not replaced after he had stripped it for photography, and it ruined the cylinder/piston when run again. I swapped it for a new one for my model with the late John Gibbs but could not find it when his collection was in turn auctioned! I wouldn't mind it back! Peter Fox
