For the V1 & V2 with swept foreword wings,the leadouts come out of the fuselage port side and under the wing then the lines would pass through a lines guide and then connected to the bell crank lead outs.
Servicing: The top half of the model unscrewed from the bottom half; the top housed the engine, fuel tank, flight controls, wing and tail surfaces - you could fly the top half
by hand launch and land it in the long grass. the lower section housed the air intake and exhaust slot landing gear and tail skid.
History: V1 1956 was cannibalised to make V2 1956,model V2 borrowed by Alan Copper in 1959 and last seen in Alan's workshop at Wingerworth Nr Chesterfield. In 1990 I asked Alan whether he still had the model so I could make a model for the Vintage class A events but he couldn't find the model.
