The odd thing about the CBF 1000 is that it is the best motorcycle that I have ever owned. The motor is a detuned Fireblade engine which has lost about 70 BHP and 4000 rpm but gained a massively broad torque band and very smooth delivery of power. The bike is threfore very relaxing to drive when you need it to be and quite rapid when you want to press on. The riding position is just about perfect with no pressure on the wrists. The screen could be better but that is just about the limit of my complaints so far.
