my ansel adams and autumnal awe challenge

Fall Freedom Forest...my kid cottage

I returned to my first childhood home and suddenly I felt the presence of amazing Ansel Adams. One of my favorite quotes of his is, "There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." I love how infinitely inspiring his humble philosophy is and for all who photograph with heart! I hope all of you immerse yourselves in the magic that flows always within you! This is the Celtic time of year when the veil is thinnest between the worlds... Mystical vibes led me to dive into fall on my sweet Chicago block where my earliest memories of the best of my youthful zest are forever stored in my heart, my body, and my soul...
I hope to see many photos of your life's mystical vibes and I welcome any words you may wish to share as well!!!

A superb image. V I once used Ansel Adams as an example of a great photographer who did not always have a main subject in his images (the whole image being the subject) and the professional photographer (who maintained that there always has to be a main subject in the photograph), said he did not know who Ansel adams was. :)

I see a home warm, safe and filled with love. I see sunshine and shadows, a place to run and feel free, a tree to climb and skies for soaring and dreaming. I hear the call of sweet mother, "Johnny Cake its supper time" and faithful father waiting and watching at the front door for his pride and joy to enter. Lots of sweet memories and funny stories have their home in your home. I now see the mature hand of one holding a golden leaf, a semblance of the golden and happy years he remembers. Your kid cottage is beautiful.

After many storms you are still a surviver and my livelong hero.
Love you forever :-)
