Frozen in Time (HDR)

Madison, WI

I would have liked to put something else up, but quite frankly, it was too cold today to go out and shoot. (I did take advantage of the clear skies to get this but that was about it). It was -3 (F) when I shot this with a wind chill of -20, and that was in the heat of the day.

I don't have to trim my facial hair tonight, I just broke off the part I didn't want. I shot one more sequence of photos on the way home and made the mistake of leaving my gloves in the car as I was only going to be out about 30-sec. I think my hands got frost bitten. Lost feeling in the index finger and thumb. It's really bitter and more coming tonight.

Excellent composition and lovely blue tones in complete consistency with the nasty weather conditions.

Like that glow sneaking behind the building. Sounds cold with that wind chill, but a least the sun is out :)

Looks like a series of clever indoor shots is on its way.

Lovely architecture backlit by that touch of sun.
Sorry you are so cold and we are so darn hot!

Wow! This is beautiful...
Hope you didn't lose too much hair, it looks as though it was worth it.

This conveys the cold feeling very well - the touches of gold from the sun and in the windows highlight the overall blue tone. Very nice image.
