Almost got skunked today. Kind of 'down in the mouth", so I didn't want to got out but finally this afternoon I did. Didn't take a photo. So, when we got home, I sat out back and got this wren checking things out before going out to get more food for the brood.

Although I pre-composed and pre-focused I opted to shoot with a medium slow ISO, (400). The light levels were lower than I envisioned and the wren is slightly blurred. This is a throw-a-way. As an aside, I don't believe the best shots are pre-visualized etc. I think by previsualizing you 'lock' youself into a set piece and will often times miss a much better opportunity due to tunnel vision. (Awkwardly said, but I hope you get the drift).
