Le Volcan, Cultural Centre in Le Havre. Known as Le Havre’s most conspicuous landmark and designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer and opened in 1982. It's also the city’s premier cultural venue. In fact the complex consists of two buildings, a "large and a small vulcano".

In the background the belltower of Saint-Joseph's Church. I will post images of that interesting church later.
