One of the The Remains of Expo '92

Expo ’92 was Spain’s way of showing off all it had accomplished in the 80’s. Spread across many acres of La Isla de La Cartuja in Seville, over one hundred countries were represented, including many massive pavilions.

Sort of a sad reminder of what once was there. I remember reading that a famous Hungarian architect who I really liked designed a spectacular pavilion for Hungary. V.
