Swimming pools

In the foreground is the pool for the Sultan's children. In the background is the pool for his
wives. Beyond the tower is the Sultan's pool, and from the tower the Sultan would throw a flower
into the wives' pool, and the wife who retrieved it was allowed to join the Sultan in his pool.

This is a really neat swimming pool. It looks like a giant fountain. I would want this in my backyard.http://melbpools.com.au

I visited this place in 2002 and it was in very poor condition. The water in the pools was green and the walls almost black. It is good to see how it should look but I am sad to hear that it was subsequently badly damaged. This is how it looked in 2002 -http://www.pbase.com/rileyuni/image/25900164

You were lucky to get this perfect picture of Taman Sari,John. The swimming pool is gone now, the earthquake did a great damage to Taman Sari's ground. I live next to it, so half of my house was gone too.
I heard the city are going to re-build it again, but I am not sure if it's going to serve it's original.
