Commissioned by King Rama III, this gigantic image of the Reclining Buddha or Phra Buddhasalyas,
is the largest in Thailand. It's 46 meters long (150 feet) and 15 meters (50 feet) high, and entirely
covered with gold leaf. It depicts the dying Buddha entering nirvana.
