March 4, 1889 - Benjamin Harrison being sworn in as 23rd President

Chief Justice Melville W. Fuller administered the oath of office to Harrison while Harrison's opponent in the
1888 Election, out-going President Grover Cleveland, held the umbrella. Harrison's speech was brief, half
that of his grandfather, William Henry Harrison, who gave longest inaugural address of any U.S. President.
