SUNSETS and the magic of low-angled light

Early morning and late evening are the times of day to get those "extra-special" photos. The quality of the light will be changing rapidly so it's a good idea to pick a good position and stay there. With an atrociously high dyanamic range needing to be captured, the light at sunset itself virtually demands the use of tripods, circular polarisers and ND Graduated filters. And don't forget to take a flashlight in your bag to not just to illuminate part of the scene, or help find things that you may have dropped, but also to find your way back home. (One with a band that fits to your head is especially useful.)
