The transition from farmland to wild moorland is abrupt here on the
North Western ramparts of the moor. Looking across to Sourton Tor
in the foreground with the massive bulk of Amicombe Hill behind.
Many years ago there was an Ice Works on the slopes of Sourton Tor;
all that remains today are a few banks of earth and pits in the soil.
