I grabbed this shot of the partial eclipse (about 85%) by holding an
old 1999 pair of eclipse glasses over the camera lens.
As the partial shadow moved over it became much colder, the wind dropped and
high light cloud cover partially obscured the eclipse.
Shadows took on an unusual quality and the birds became quite agitated...
I thought these things only happened during a total eclipse.
