Monday the tourists were off early to Center Harbor, NH which is located on Lake
Winnipesaukee, to board the 230-foot M/S Mt. Washington for a cruise to Wolfeboro,
NH. A highlight of the voyage was the classic mahogany speedboats that circled the
vessel as we approached the town of Wolfeboro. After arriving in Wolfeboro a
fortunate few were offered rides in a couple of the speedboats. An added bonus were
the two old time steamboats tied up at the Wolfeboro docks.
Many tourists went to visit the Wright Museum of World War II while others walked
up the hill to the Wolfeboro Inn where the Classic Car Club of America’s "Classic
New England CARavan" was having their lunch stop to view and admire the classic
cars that were part of that tour.
