October was vile, November was mostly worse. Today was no exception: wind averaging 25 kph, gusting 46 kph, and rain for the last 30. 45k straight into the wind, ~30 across it, more or less. Temperature started at 7°C and dropped to 4°. Great fun.

Open secret: rain gear for cycling these days doesn't keep the rain out. The fabric *may* be OK but they don't seal the seams any more.
