In our small town, there was a concrete "sculpture" business that operated for at least 70 years, but closed about 2005. I worked there for a bit in the early 1970s, making concrete ducks, lambs, deer, bird baths, and any sort of animal and cherub you can think of. Truckloads would leave every week, but none of the workers understood why anyone would buy such a thing.

Now that I think of it, I have one of their bird baths in my back yard right now.
