Pano: old ochre mine

They used high-pressure hoses to flush out the ochre in a slurry that was channeled back down for processing. The various weird shapes were carved out this way. The columns sticking up in the middle were (ironically?) christened "The Virgins".

BTW ochre is less expensive in softwares, even in Photoshop :-)
