About half an hour before nightfall, a cloudbank has moved away west and the sun is burning through its upper reaches to flood the land with wonderful low-angle light.
The somewhat primitive FT1 didn't want to believe it, and hit it with a one-size-fits-none WB/exposure that I had to rework in PS: this looks more like the scene I remember.
