external fixators, plates, screws, cables, pins, wires, cement, hip prosthesis, knee prosthesis.



Lumbo-sacral-coccygeal spine with the 2nd and 5th lumbar vertebral bodies removed,
reconstructed using recycled external fixation frames from the leg, arm, and hand.

The coccyx (tailbone) is being held in place with crossed stainless steel wires.
