After the last student leaves, my second stop is the fridge. This is our fridge. You will note that it is well stocked with stuff. The particularly high level of stuff is leftovers from Robert and Laura's party. And such yummy stuff it is. Ginny is particularly enamored with the shrimp (now gone) and the potato salad. I have adopted the London broil (in honor of my friend John Cooper) and the excess Guiness (in honor of my son Robert) as my own. I would adopt any excess Bailey's in honor of Agent Listorama, but alas, there is none. There are only two of us here, so working through all the stuff before the onset of malodorous affectations is a challenge. Ginny and I welcome the challenge and have vowed to do our best to consume the good stuff before it goes bad. They boys will understand the enormity of the task.
The presence of film brings back bad memories, but that is compensated for by the use of the beautiful phrase "onset of malodorous affectations." Do I see Corning pots on a shelf?
