Ginny started the annual mass production of carmel corn. I have remarked in other postings about her carmel corn. It is really quite good. Every year she makes enough so that we can give our students a Christmas treat. This is her patented (she is a patent agent, you know) method of capturing the air popped pop corn in a paper bag. You will notice that the special bag holder is designed to be retracted out of sight when not in use.

Would have to challenge the patent however, been using this setup for years here.. same make popper AND Kroger bag....although, we don't use the drawer with the rolling pin and salad tongs so might be something in her favor there... 8-)

Have to check the bags first, nothing worse than getting popcorn in your drawers.

It is those home-built devices that impress me the most. That the bag holder is retractable blows my mind, but I am easily amused.
