They were out in the toughest part of the fescue crop today. It is tough because it is very heavy and it is damp in many places. The rain a few weeks ago certainly screwed things up. Donny got plugged several times today. The last one was as he was about to quit for the day. Fortunately, this one he was able to blow out and didn't have to remove it by hand.

Dave: Do you expose yourself often?
Dave Beedon28-Aug-2007 04:10
Life is a learning process. This topic was not covered in any of the seminars, classes, field trips, brochures, monographs, reports, presentations, and films to which I have been exposed. Sign me up!

Dave: I was hoping I wouldn't have to explain this, but....it is actually a coronal discharge detector. He is harvesting fields which are within a few miles of the coronal discharge thruster test standshttp://www.pbase.com/johncrossphotography/image/72029805 and the combine is a convenient cover for this operation. Donny just doesn't modify (nudge nudge wink wink) he has other undisclosed talents as well. Perhaps we should consider a refresher for you at the next field agent seminar.

I still think the thing on top is a GPS dome.
