This is the West Coast office of John Cross Photography and Aviation Service. I set up the Epson 4490 scanner (which is really good for scanning prints) and my notebook computer in the double wide trailer on the property. This gives me a place I can go and concentrate on getting the photos scanned. My project this summer is to get as many of Ginny's mom's images digitized as possible. She wants to have some slide shows she can look at. This is a big challenge because most of the photos are randomly placed in binders or just plain loose. I am estimating that I can get more than a thousand done. Hopefully, two thousand, if there are that many decent images to be had.
Glad to see that you are back in the PBase saddle. Keeping count of your scanning progress will be challenging. It will go smoothly with the use of the proper calculator. To that end, I am willing to loan you my DeBroglie-wave-powered abacus (computes to 17 decimal places in base 23).
