There are always a lot of squirrels around our yard. We have always named them Bouncer (I forgot why, but I think the boys came up with that name.) Anyway, we had a bag of sunflower seeds and I decided to put them out for the critters, figuring that the birds would snarf them up. Well, it's the squirrels who are snarfing them up.
This reminded me of the time that we decided to trap a squirrel. I think it was Rob who participated in this adventure. We did the old milk crate held up with a stick and string attached to the stick trick. I forgot what we baited it with. Much to my surprise, a squirrel ventured into the trap, and we got him. Well, that squirrel went berserk and jumped around so much that he was able to tip over the crate and escape. That was great fun.
