This is my new Nikon SuperCoolscan 9000. For the last two days I have spent all my free time messing with it. It really works well. The images are extremely nice. One thing I noticed was that it didn't seem to align the frames correctly, and when I tried the slide tray, I got the same problem. I talked to their tech support people (native English speakers from Canada!)and determined that there was indeed something wrong with it. They said ship it in. I said Whoa, that's expensive for a gadget this size that I paid tons of dough for and it didn't work properly from the get go. They said let us check and decided to pay the shipping. So, my two new electronic things (notebook computer and film scanner) are currently TU and off for repair.
I disavow any knowledge of such a heinous process, as I live in Washington State, not washington state. BUT: I am on my toes for reasons that I am not permitted to reveal to Texans.
Carl-you may be on to something here. I would think that agent listorama would be on his toes.

i'm beginning to think that They are manipulating you. these devices are actually being sent to an alien warehouse somewhere in washington state and being examined for use in the imminent Invasion. the switch to canadian was very slick, but i can see through Their ways.....
