My friend Paul, in the hangar next to me, has a nice Commanche 250 which I am doing a annual on. This has taken quite a while because he is often quite busy or just flat gone to the Valley. Anyway, we stabbed the two new magnetos today and now are on the downhill slide of all the chicken bleep that needs to be done to button her up and fly her.

Please forgive me, John. I completely forgot that you speak British. Translated: Said electrical energising devices were placed properly with the fiddly bits steadfastly aligned with the pips affixed to the gear inside the aluminium casement which keeps the mechanism neat and tidy inside. After a bit of tinkering it was determined that the works were functioning tickety boo.

I can get you a real sharp knife, to make a better job of stabbing the magnetos.

Having a fratostatic surge inhibitor on hand would have made the work a lot easier. I can get you one real cheap.
