I really like to eat. Who doesn't, except for those with anorexia, but they are crazy. I have never been a great fan of subtle spices and flavoring in food. I figure that God gave us senses so that we would use them to their fullest extent. For example, some people like camomile tea, but I don't. Hell, you can't even taste it, only smell it. What a waste!
I prefer food and drink that really lets you know what it is all about. Lite beer is for wimps, but a good IPA, now that's a beer. The same with salads. I view a salad as a base upon which to stack flavors. The lettuce is tasteless, and therefore is relegated to a substrate. Now, you pile on lots of oil and vinegar, bacon and a generous amount of parmesan cheese and presto! Now you have some manly eats.
