During our adventures I try to download all the pictures we take every day, assign keywords and select five to post on my travel album on Facebook. When I get home I have to transfer all the photos from our travel computer to our main photo computer at home. That takes a bit of work, but having kept up with the keywording all along, there really isn't much extra to do to get it all squared away. The most important thing is to run backups so everything is safe and sound.
I was going through our photos and looking for some that I really like because of the image itself or because the object is interesting to me. Today I came across this photo of a Pied Kingfisher which Ginny took. I find it interesting because of how the bird behaves. It can actually hover above the water at about 20 feet and dive down on its prey in the water. We got to watch one at work several times. It was fun to watch.
