First stop on the trip was with Ginny's cousin Debbie and Ken at their house on Lake Gladewater. This is in the famous East Texas oil field which was discovered in 1930. The East Texas Oil Museum is a must if you are in Kilgore. Ken arranged for a docent to meet us and we spent the whole day there. Our docent Rickey was a native of Kilgore and had boatloads of stories which were all very interesting. Here we are with Ken and Debbie in the museum.
