Our trip takes us by Lacassine, Louisiana. There is a rum distillery there and we have said for years that we ought to stop there some time. Today was the day. We got a nice tour of the distillery, met the master blender, Reiniel Vicente Diaz, and found some cool trinkets in the gift shop. We also bought a bottle of rum, what a surprise. We dragged back in to Houston in the mid afternoon. A great trip, lots of friends, lots of family fun and the food was good all around.
