One of the culinary projects was making Christmas shortbread cookies. The kids did most of the work rolling the dough and cutting out the cookies. In the end we frosted them and enjoyed them. We had lots of frosting that didn't make it all the way to the cookies, if you know what I mean.
We also opened presents which was a hoot. There were many bottles of adult beverages changing hands. We got some top of the line gourmet crackers, canned fish, jam and other stuff. We are looking forward to getting into that stuff when we get back to Houston.
