I have experimented in the past with a "walking" panorama shot, the idea being to use the pano setting on the iPhone and walk parallel to an object. This should give an undistorted view. My problem in the past was that it is difficult to walk a straight line while photographing. So today we were cruising slowly so I decided to give it a shot. I put the iPhone up against the window on the houseboat and our speed was just right to keep the pano going. This is the result, an acceptable photo of the passing shoreline. I was pleased with the result and will certainly try it again. The original was 57 megapixels.
