There are 76,000 wind turbines installed in the US. A total of $176 billion has been paid by the feds in subsidies. If you do the math that is $2.3 million for each wind turbine. That is a boatload of dough. During our drive on the road trip we saw lots of wind farms. Many had few turbines turning. If wind is supposed to be the cheapest source of energy, why aren't they all in use??? Just asking.
