A view down to the Elbe River from the viewing platform at Saxon Switzerland National Park in Bastei, Germany. I think the elevation is about 500 feet above the River. It was a very pleasant day. Today was the only day of cruising on the river. Low water and a collapsed bridge put a dent in the festivities. We were able to see all the sites on the itinerary because they had arranged buses to take us to them.
