It is tough to find good sky for astrophotography near the house, so I decided to have a go at the airport, which is a Bortle 9. I went out and waited for dark. There is so much light pollution that is is difficult to see any but the brightest. I took this photo in front of the hangar. The four stars are (clockwise from upper left) Procyon, Betelgeuse, Alnitak and Sirius. I could not see Polaris which makes polar alignment nearly impossible. So much for that idea.
