We met up with Richard and family at church this morning. Then it was downtown to the Tucson Art Museum. What can I say, it was an art museum. After a nice lunch we started out for Mt. Lemmon and a star party at the observatory up there. They warned us that it was cold, and they were right. Lotsa layers and big gloves. Well, the star party didn't happen because of the clouds. They cleared for a few minutes and we got a nice view of the sunset. They said to watch out for the green flash, but it didn't happen. One of these days I have to find a spot where there is a good chance of seeing it. The road up there is about 30 miles long with lots of curves. When we headed back down there was a dense fog for the first mile or so. The going was slow. On the way up we averaged 14 miles per gallon; on the way down it was 62.5 miles per gallon.
