We flew to Ta'u Island this morning. Our ultimate objective was Ofu Island. The passage from Ta'u Island to Ofu Island (8 miles) in American Samoa was pretty exciting. There were 10-12 foot swells. Just like a roller coaster. Fortunately the harbors on both ends were behind a breakwater and were pretty calm. The surface winds were about 25 mph.
