Today it was sightseeing in Honolulu. The judicial palace was the first stop. The iconic statue of King Kamehameha is out front. Next was the U. S. Army Museum of Hawaii which turned out to be a very interesting place. The exhibits are well done. It is at Fort DeRussy inside Battery Randolph, a WWII shore battery. Last stop was the statue of Duke Paoa Kahanamoku on Waikiki Beach. He was a famous athlete and five time Olympic medalist in swimming (1912, 1920 and 1924.) He is famous for popularizing surfing.
