We have been very fortunate the last couple days because we have had over three inches of rain. Everything is looking better. One of Ginny's plants was particularly hard hit by the drought. Its leaves were drooping straight down and it looked like maybe it was going to pack it in. I had asked her about it wondering if it was a volunteer, but it is something she planted on purpose. It managed to put out nice red flowers in just a day or so after being revived. Pretty amazing. So I asked what it was. She didn't know. We gave Google Lens a try and found out it is a firebush. Who knew?
