In a couple weeks we head out for Samoa. One of the things we have to deal with on this trip is baggage weight limitations. In anticipation we have been packing suitcases and carry-ons to see how much they weigh. I am also in a "no excess stuff" mode which prompted me to have a look at my carry-on (there is a 11 pound limit in Samoa). I am in charge of computer and electrical stuff as well as my cameras. There were a few adapters which were superfluous. I am taking the brick (15 1/2 ounces) along because we will be in one spot for three nights where power may not be plentiful. I may decide later to leave it behind. Between snorkeling practice, reading up on Samoa and packing practice I have never done so much in preparation for our trips. It will prove to be a worthwhile endeavor.
